Other options include donating to a mutual aid group (Port City Mutual Aid, ME People's Housing Coalition, Maine Needs) or another organization (Preble Street or Safe Combinations) or donating/consigning at a nonprofit used gear shop (Portland Gear Hub). Many brands also have their own used gear sites (ex. Patagonia Worn Wear, North Face Renewed). Please remember to check organizational guidelines before donating to avoid getting turned away!
