Join Kindling and Portland Gear Hub for cross country skiing in queer community at Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford, Maine. Ski equipment is available to borrow through Portland Gear Hub, or you can bring your own. Ski instructors Olivia and Jesse will instruct participants on the basics of cross country skiing, and participants will ski a 2 mile loop on Oxbow's groomed trails. We’ll pause halfway through the loop at a hut after a mile of skiing for folks to warm up around a fire and purchase hot drinks or beer, and then ski the rest of the loop. This will take 1.5-2 hours. Stick around after skiing for a snack, beer, or nonalcoholic beverage. This day is for beginners and experienced skiers alike.

This is a 21+ event.
