Kindling Collective is a queer-centered gear library and education center creating an accessible pathway to outdoor experiences in Maine (Wabanaki Confederacy Territory). We aim to build community and support people in growing and sustaining relationships with the natural world.

We offer an array of classes and workshops covering topics like backpacking 101, trip planning, backcountry cooking, and home gear repair.
Kindling Collective offers a range of LGBTQ affirming professional development trainings and workshops designed for businesses, brands, camps, and other organizations in the outdoor industry.
